I always bring intepreting Service’s phone number and fax .. I always just fill out all of agencies phone number and fax number or email. I will print out and bring it to Court to give the number to reach agencies. so they will see when I also print out A.D.A lawyer/court specifically and Interpreter cerficiate.
Courthouse in Seattle,WA They do provided an interpeter with certificate for court and specifically legal certificate interpreter,too. But I never happened to me without interpreter.

I want to consider something…Best to use, “licensed interpreters” because they are professional. If you use “qualify interpreters,” they either can be licensed interpreters and non-licensed interpreters. More specific is better as a licensed interpreter.
I am not sure what is NAACP, Be specifically information from you? Could you please? I just assumed that NAACP for black people need to support?
But NAACP is not familiar with A.D.A ? just wonder?

This is sad story that happen in Wisconsin so often… I have through it in my work, doctor and court and etc… it need better communications and must enforce lawyer, court people, policeman and etc know about ADA Law and 504 c section- etc…
I think enough is enough!!! deaf people need voice and action to concern or complain to our local legislation and sentate in Wisconsin.
Maybe we need have special day like deaf awareness week and we, wad members and deaf club people and Wisconsin deaf communities go to State Capitol every yr and have annual parade to voice our right, and tell TV station that we are concern that WI court, business and etc dont following ada law, interpreter law, deaf rights, any issues relate to state law-agencies that must provide or service them much better……. that is too long overdues!! we have enough suffer or discriminatation daily!

well well I got finally to read ur comment and been wait so long long time ago that has hard time with the judge who refuse to hired interpret for the deaf peoples who appt to court same things happened over over again again no success that the judge’s damn …………. and tired of those old story to keep postone postone to other schedule and made pissed off for nothings to go over there same lawyer no good too other peoples look at and stare,,,,then turn around look at them made funny at deaf peoples who can’t communcation and can’t get an interpret to filled angry and frustrate that the judge won’t do nothing and keep ingore deaf peoples in small country after years to years till finally speak out to the judge to made my right need an interpret then got it solve the problem except problem with social worker never act and to court without interpret that I lost my daughter last 1987 right after my mother passed away to made my life miserable………..but long story suffer enough is enough till she grow up older enough to came see me and also my deaf brother same problem to court and the judge saw him with no interpret and keep go there again stiill nothing hired no interpret then he gave up I told him but he gave up and don’t want to doing nothings………….MY suggest every country court need to understand about deaf peoples who need communcate with interpret that need new law to vote for that judge and lawyer need to do their job to required for an interpret for deaf peoples our right to have decision to making country court must have and not let our weakness deaf peoples not their judge’s comment hope to find the way the law could making it to pass for the judge every country out there we do care to need communcation with an interpret to help understand what we talk through as the judge would not give waste our time comment and not let our lose for nothings…………it’s mean this time to know everyone out there as many suffer too and never change nothings new……………..God only know our suffer which the judge’s full of ashame and ingore nobody perfect on the earth but same equal everyone same way nothings wrong with deaf same to hearing too……………….

That is great news per the article.
The courthouse will take an action to ensure the law certified interpreters to access any court proceeding.
I am pretty sure that the courthouse will hire any law-training certified interpreters other states along with the decent salary.
As for the deaf couple, they will have to be patient to allow their children to make the transmital
